Awesomeness

It's fake back and forth diaries from Johnny Depp and Christian Bale on the set of Public Enemies. Some of them made me laugh out loud, mostly Christian Bale's. ha.

ugh, Kellie is at 3 days on her count down. dammit. I apparently like to have all of my emotional moments crammed into the same month. at least there's still colorado to be had. although i'm not invited to tea. jerks. fine, i'll make some red zinger on my own.

also, i just had the most random thought. probably prompted by the sad deaths of yesterday. you know the scene in little women after beth dies? their awesome irish house keeper is sprinkling flower petals over beth's dolls at the foot of her bed and there's no dialogue, only score. that is quite possibly one of my favorite scenes in a movie ever. it just feels so honest. it makes me weep every time. i'm getting a bit misty just thinking about it. similar thing in the beginning of up when you just have the music and you see ellie crying at the doctor. some things are best set to music instead of words.

in a similar vein, i have very visceral reactions to certain songs. i really love when i hear something and i immediately have an emotional reaction to it and i have to figure out why. i love that! it's like a game of memory.
