song choice and my awesome run in

they played "bleeding love" during tonight's true blood. especially considering the scene it played in, i was in love. i cracked up. i love hoyt.

scraped my leg again during softball. same places as last time. epic fail. i need to stop sucking at life. BUT it was a 2 run triple, so it was a small sacrifice of a few skin layers to beat the first place team. boo ya bitches!

let me tell you about my friday night. i got free tickets from work to see guys and dolls at the hollywood bowl. i was REALLY excited because i had actually almost bought my own individual tickets when the season went on sale. jessica biel was playing sarah, and scott bakula (quantum leap!!) was playing nathan and ellen greene (audrey from little shop of horrors!) was playing adelaide. i was very excited. marie and i brought our picnic dinner and walked up from the metro. next time i go to the bowl i think i'll park at hollywood and highland since they validate for four hours. then i don't even have to buy a metro ticket. genius! at intermission i ran down to the bathroom to beat the crowds but got sent back because i needed my ticket, erg. so i go wait in line and as i'm exiting the bathroom, i almost run into this guy waiting for the men's room and i look up to avoid him and IT'S FUCKING JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!!!! my jaw fell open and i kept walking, then curled around to get back in the women's line. i stared and made sure it was him and then i ran back to my seats and told marie. haha it was awesome! i convinced her to go with me so she could see and he walked right by us again. he's SO CUTE in person. marie isn't even really a fan of his, but even she got excited. it was super awesome. the coolest part was that when we were getting ready i was like "wouldn't it be awesome if we saw justin timberlake tonight since jessica biel is starring?" and WE DID!!!!! aaaaah i'm still excited. highlight of my weekend. jessica biel was surprisingly good as well. she has a very high, clear, soprano. delightful.

saw the proposal finally. very cute. i love sandra bullock and ryan reynolds, so a generic romantic comedy starring them is always gonna be fine by me. also, mary steenburgen looks damn good. ted danson is a lucky man. also saw funny people. it's like a drama starring humorous people. heavy subject matter and two movies smushed into one viewing session (2.5 hours!!). i think i would've preferred getting rid of the leslie mann plot and stick to seth and adam. although, eric bana was really funny. he should do more comedic stuff. plus he's hott and has that adorable accent. :)

anyway, does anybody watch jon & kate plus 8 anymore? i watched an episode tonight for the first time in a long while. i can't deal with it. i used to love jon and think kate was a pain in the ass, but it was all loveable and the kids were cute. now i watch it and i just think jon is a douchebag and it's all just depressing. i want to punch them all and give the kids to normal people. although it was adorable when the little boys yelled "daddy be quiet, we're doing interviews". they're cuties.

i want steak and a baked potato. get on it. i also just made the greatest food ever. grilled french sandwich roll with boursin garlic herb cheese. omg it made me so very happy.

Apparently the new episodes of J&K+8 are going to be about the divorce. Lame sauce. I think they should just make it Plus Eight. I would watch that.
